The North American Transit Alliance (NATA) has elected Transdev CEO Laura Hendricks to the chair of its board of directors.
As chief executive officer for Transdev U.S., Laura is responsible for all Transdev activities and operations in the U.S. This includes contracts for fixed route, paratransit, shuttle, fleet services NEMT and rail in more than 400 cities and communities, encompassing a workforce of close to 32,000 team members.
“I look forward to advancing the mission of NATA to advocate for the essential role that contractors play in public transit,” said Hendricks. “I am proud to serve alongside this team to help our industry evolve by promoting innovation and fostering stronger partnerships between private contractors and public agencies that move our communities and economies forward.”
The board also welcomed CEO, National Express Shuttle and Transit, Erick Van Wagenen, and CEO, RATP Dev USA, Cyril Aubin. The Board of Directors includes one seat for each of the five member firms: Keolis, MV Transportation, National Express, RATP Dev and Transdev. David Scorey, CEO, Keolis NA serves as NATA board member and NATA Treasurer. Chris Burls, Chief Strategy Officer, MV Transportation also serves as a board member.
